Have you ever passed by a snail crossing the road? What would your first thought be if you saw a snail crawling in the middle of the road? What would you do, if anything? Would you be bothered that its there? Would you be bothered if a car came? What are the chances that it would get squashed by a car? Maybe it is a lucky snail? Or maybe the thickness of tyres are just too small compared to the size of the road.
I passed by a snail crossing the road today. First thought that crossed my mind was that this snail was going to die. Second thought was, I could help it. I could save its life. But, I didn't. I just could not be bothered to stop and pick it up, I was lazy, I didn't want my hands to get dirty, maybe i'll end up killing it instead... and a whole lot of other reasons. As I continued walking, something hit me. I am doing the same thing to the people around me.
