I'm turning 21 today. Not as excited as i normally am for my past other birthdays. However, today marks an important date. I'm getting much more freedom. A joyful and fearful event. It also marks a day where I have decided to give up something for the God i so love. I have broken up with my dearest friend. We were together for quite some time and i did enjoy my time with him. However, it just was not right. That's all I will say for now. I do hope he finds someone better for him and I am thoroughly sorry that I caused him so much hurt. However this is for the best.
I will be having a birthday celebration at my place. I'm really not sure how many people are going to turn up, but i have estimated around 40. The theme is seafood. Will be going down to kill the crabs for later. Havent actually killed one before though.
I woke up this morning with a surprise. I got a red glittery box on my table. Inside, i found a note that said to look under my bed. There i found another identical but smaller box. It told me to look beneath the cross. I went to the cross which was in another room excitedly. There, in a silver box laid my first birthday present for today. Inside this silver box was another glittery red box which was even smaller, inside it was a note written "To Eleanor, Happy 21st Birthday". Beside it was a diamond necklace. It was from my father.
